Job Details:
Position Role Type: Onsite.
Location: 2501 West University, McKinney, TX 75070, USA.
Shift: 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, 2:00pm-10:30pm with 8% shift differential.

What You Will Do
  • Inspect for final acceptance, all types and series of hardware to determine that build, rework, modification and repairs conform to contractual/drawing requirements.
  • Inspect electronic and/or mechanical hardware referencing quality control standards, workmanship and drawing specifications by checking such items as parts, wires, solder joints and terminals using appropriate inspection devices.
  • Inspect and reject for tests or rework or otherwise approves hardware as acceptable.
  • Assist in managing out of flow process for sub-assemblies to ensure compliance to command media.
  • Assist in traveling between facilities on campus on foot as required.
  • Prepare reports and maintain records as required.
  • Meet necessary certifications as required.
  • Perform incidental related duties as assigned or required.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED).
  • Minimum (8) years of work experience as a quality inspector or comparable experience or an Associate’s degree in Electronics, Engineering or relevant technical field of study and (6) years of experience.
  • Experience using calibrated inspection measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, microscope, and rulers.
  • Experience with drawing and blueprint reading and interpretation.
  • Previous experience conducting inspection to the Military Specifications (MIL Specs AS9100 or ISO
    9001) and Process Specifications.
  • Previous experience performing quality inspections.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Ability to conduct Audits per a defined Quality Management System.
  • Ability to understand and communicate with engineering teams, facilitators, and managers.
  • Certified J-STD-001 inspector.
  • Exceptional attention to detail skills.
  • Computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work with a high degree of confidence and efficiency.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with management, supervisors, and peers to resolve issues.
  • Display a strong personal commitment to successfully complete all projects.
  • Proficient knowledge of Factory Operating Systems (CMES, IMRO, VM).

Clearance Information
