As the Certified Nursing Assistant at Baybrooke Village Care and Rehab Center, you will work an 8‑hour shift, providing residents with personal care, assisting the charge nurse and delivering exceptional service.

- Provide personal care to residents in a manner that ensures their safety and comfort, consistent with community policy.
- Promote and support the greatest possible degree of independence for residents.
- Advise the supervising charge nurse of the resident’s status at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Contribute knowledge of resident’s conditions and needs to resident care plans.
- Assist in the implementation of care plans as directed within the parameters of established policy and procedure.
- Observe and report on residents’ conditions, and document observations as required.
- Comply with procedures for safe lifting and/or safe transfer of residents per established policies and procedures.
- Perform moderate to heavy lifting as required.
- Ensure that equipment is clean and functional.
- Perform incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks to maintain a clean, hazard‑free environment for residents, visitors and staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
- State certification as a nursing assistant.
- Complete familiarity with the duties of a certified nursing assistant.
- Highly developed observation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
