The Value Stream Manager (VSM) is the primary supervisor and team executor within a production or depot manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will report to the Factory Operations Manager (FOM) and be accountable for daily execution and a member of a cross functional team which includes the FOM, Production Support team (ME, PTE, IE, QE, PC) and Production engineering/test support team.

The VSM will be tasked to execute operational schedules, priorities, goals while collaborating with functional management to allow for continuous manufacturing of line-flow or end-item products. Additionally, the VSM will have accountability for production and direct daily supervision of cell leads. This position involves direct support of manufacturing activities and requires spending significant amounts of time in and around factory areas.

The candidate must be capable and willing to work extended hours (when required) in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment. The ideal candidate will possess the demonstrated skills and experience necessary to perform in both manufacturing and technical leadership roles. What You Will Do
* Direct supervision and responsibility for 2 Cell Leads/Front Line Leaders.

* Collaborate and communicate with upstream and downstream leadership.

* Utilize knowledge of manufacturing principles, manufacturing support team roles and responsibilities and manufacturing systems in support of daily execution.

* Execute and sustain the product focused processes, tooling, equipment and test architecture.

* Personnel performance input for all related functions and career development of team members including coaching and mentoring.

* Perform a wide variety of improvements, efforts and initiatives related to the factory manufacturing system.

* Assist with labor forecasts and Estimates at Compete (EACs) for the touch employees.

* Execute priorities relating to safety, people, quality, delivery, and cost.

* Interact with support engineering, supply chain, and quality with respect to project schedules. Qualifications You Must Have
* Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience

* Experience with either Manufacturing and/or Operations.

* Experience working in supervisory or management role.
