What

You Will Do
  • Inspect for final acceptance, all types and series of electronic hardware to determine that rework, modification, and repairs conform to contractual/drawing requirements.
  • Inspect and accept electronic hardware referencing quality control standards, workmanship, and drawing specifications; by checking such items as parts, wires, solder joints, and terminals, using appropriate inspection devices.
  • Inspect and reject for tests or rework or otherwise approves hardware as acceptable.
  • Prepare reports and maintain records as required.
  • Meet necessary certifications as required.
  • Perform incidental related duties as assigned or required.
  • 2nd shift hours: 1400-22:30 CST | 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM CST
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically, a HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
    • Relevant experience is working in a manufacturing / assembly environment
  • Experience using calibrated inspection measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, microscope, and/or rulers
  • Experience reading technical drawings, blueprints, and/or work instructions
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Experience with Solder Institute of Printed Circuits (IPC) Joint Standard 001 (IPC-J-STD-001)
  • Experience conducting Audits per a defined Quality Management System
  • Experience with hardware returned from the field (Mission Support)
  • Previous experience with Military Specifications (MIL Specs), and Process Specifications
  • Experience with FAI, First Article Inspection, AS9102
  • Experience inspecting and using a Manufacturing reporting System to document observations and defects
  • Computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite

Benefits and Compensation

The salary range for this role is 43,400 USD - 82,600 USD. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term disability, long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent on the specific business unit and whether the position is covered by a collective‑bargaining agreement.
