The raw material receiving specialist is responsible for ensuring that all raw materials are received, documented, and reported accurately and in compliance with company standards.  This role plays a critical part in maintaining material traceability, supporting timely payments, and assists the buying group in maintaining proper inventory levels to support operations.

Objectives:
* Receive and verify raw material shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and BOLs to ensure accuracy of quantity, material type, and specifications
* Communicating damaged and/or incorrect materials with the corresponding vendor(s).
* Communicate shortages, discrepancies, and other potential issues to purchasing for timely resolution
* Maintain accurate receiving records and documentation to support regulatory compliance and internal/external audits

Required Skills:

* Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
* Able to work well with other team members and offers to assist others if/when needed
* Punctual and excellent attendance, can self-manage work hours based on workload
* High school diploma required, with 3-5 years of related experience preferred
* Associates and/or bachelor’s degree a plus
* Experience in warehouse, receiving, or manufacturing environment preferred
* Basic computer and ERP system skills
* Ability to read and understand shipping documents and specifications
