We are searching for candidates that meet the required qualifications and experience and are able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities.

* Job Summary:

** Play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with employment verification processes for the college district. Manage I-9 documentation, conduct audits, and support the HR Employment department with various filings. The role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work independently while interacting with a diverse employee population
*
* Required Qualifications:

**** Essential Duties and Responsibilities
*** Serve as the central point of contact for I-9 compliance, managing documentation for all new hires, including faculty, staff, and student employees.
* Process I-9 forms weekly and participate in new hire orientation sessions to verify employment eligibility.  Upload and maintain records using Workday and E-Verify.
* Conduct regular I-9 audits to ensure regulatory compliance. Maintain and prepare detailed reports for internal and external audits.
* Review and audit Employment Authorization Documents (EADs) and visa statuses for employees district wide. Communicate updates and ensure timely follow-up.
* Respond to initial unemployment claims from the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC). Collaborate with HR team members to address and resolve claims efficiently.
* Maintain accurate records within the filing database related to Motor Vehicle Reports (MVR), ensuring timely tracking and reporting.
* Resolve compliance issues by communicating with various departments within the organization.
* Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management to support departmental goals and compliance initiatives.

* Ability to cross-check and validate information for accuracy.
* Ability to work with a diverse group of people.
** Requirements
* * Associate degree from an accredited institution and two (2) years of recent, directly related interviewing/recruitment experience OR any equivalent related combination of training and experience.
* Equivalency Language
* At least sixty (60) undergraduate credit hours and two (2) additional years of directly related experience.
