We are seeking an Airborne Depot Value Stream Manager (VSM) to support our factory team 100% onsite in McKinney, Texas. The Airborne Depot/ATFLIR factory provides repair services for Turrets and EOSUs that return from war fighters, keeping planes operational.
What You Will Do- Direct supervision of Cell Leads (CL) and responsibility for 30+ Operators and Test Techs.
- Collaboration and communication with upstream and downstream VSMs and leadership.
- Utilize knowledge of manufacturing principles, support team roles and systems to support initiatives, projects, improvements, and efforts.
- Oversee and lead the generation, development and sustainment of product-focused processes, tooling, equipment and test architecture.
- Deploy and maintain lean transformation 1.5 activities with supporting teams.
- Deploy and maintain CORE structure, concepts and execution, including tier accountability and continuous improvement.
- Provide personnel performance input for all related functions and career development of team members, including coaching and mentoring.
- Perform sequencing, planning, scheduling, coordinating, failure triage support and reporting tasks to support the manufacturing workflow.
- Track and monitor HPU performance of the team.
- Strategic short-term execution and long-range planning.
- Define and execute priorities related to safety, people, quality, delivery and cost.
- Interact with support engineering, supply chain and quality regarding project schedules.
- University degree (or equivalent experience) with a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of five (5) years.
- Experience with manufacturing and/or operations.
- Supervisory or managerial experience.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.
- Experience working in a cross-functional team environment.
- Previous experience leading a direct team with specific deadlines, requirements or deliverables.
- Knowledge of manufacturing and industrial engineering practices.
- Knowledge of quality requirements in manufacturing environments.
- Superior communication skills.
- Understanding of sequencing for fabrication, assembly, installation, testing, and related manufacturing operations for similar products or processes.

Salary Range: 107,500 USD – 204,500 USD (good faith estimate).

Specific benefits depend on business unit and collective-bargaining agreement.
Annual incentive compensation may be available, subject to performance and agreement status.
