Job DetailsThe Project Engineer role is based in North Texas with travel to locations in Texas and Oklahoma. P&K Stone, LLC offers high quality crushed stone, manufactured sand and recycled concrete. Our aggregate materials are used in a wide range of construction aggregate applications including infrastructure projects, commercial projects and residential projects.
Primary Objectives- Champion safety
- Work with the operations management team to develop and prepare concepts, scope, GA, and detail drawings for new plant and optimization projects
- Develop project budget and schedule to meet target completion dates using internal and external resources where applicable
- Assist in the development of, and adherence to, design standards.
- Follow through on project completion and ensure objectives are met.
- Create and maintain the project schedule.
- Provide project updates to company leadership.
- Pre-qualify contractors.
- Bachelor’s degree with Civil or Structural Engineering background.
- At least 5 years of project engineering experience and related experience in a heavy industrial or mining environment.
- In depth knowledge with aggregates processing equipment, pumping equipment, and fundamental electrical knowledge is desired.
- Analytical, data focused, and metrics driven.
- Ability to communicate effectively at the field level and with management.
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively and effectively. Detail oriented. Solves problems in a timely fashion.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze options and present a recommendation based on quantitative information.
- Microsoft Office products, Outlook, Excel and Word, and AutoCAD.
- Primarily office with some field work in a manufacturing environment with moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, elevated noise levels, and dusty conditions.
- Periodic travel and overnight required.

- Salary Range: $90,000 - $135,000 annually, commensurate with experience
