Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster respectful, supportive, and professional relationships with students, families, and team members
  • Implement individualized education plans (IEPs), including service schedules, accommodations, and appropriate curriculum modifications
  • Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team model (including BCBA, OT, SLP, LSSP, and other specialists)
  • Work directly with and provide ongoing support to the TEA Director, ensuring alignment with district and state compliance requirements
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of documentation and reporting required by school districts and the Texas Education Agency (TEA)
  • Contribute to the development, review, and revision of IEP goals and objectives
  • Implement and support individualized behavior intervention plans with fidelity
  • Collect real-time, accurate data during instructional and behavioral sessions
  • Create and maintain updated program guides and data graphs following each student session
  • Document sessions using clear, professional, and clinically appropriate language
  • Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and FERPA regulations, ensuring confidentiality of all student and family information
  • Demonstrate initiative, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic educational environment

Requirements:

  • Valid Texas Teacher Certification (Special Education certification required to be considered)
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
