Could you be our next Financial/Operational Audit Intern
?

Globe Life is seeking a Financial/Operational Audit Intern to join the team! In this on‑site position located in McKinney, TX, you will provide assurance and consulting services to Globe Life Inc. and its subsidiaries. You will evaluate processes and controls, assess related risks, and help align findings with organizational goals. Working on large team projects, you’ll gain exposure to senior management and mentors in an environment that encourages growth, learning, and appreciation.

• Assist in preparing comprehensive audit programs under the guidance of Internal Audit management
• Conduct interviews and meetings with audit clients and external auditors
• Actively participate in client meetings and collaborate with audit team members
• Support control testing procedures and prepare detailed work papers
• Contribute to the company’s Sarbanes‑Oxley compliance initiatives
• Prepare and document draft audit findings and recommendations, supported by accurate work papers for management review
• Assist in developing and executing SQL queries for data analysis

• Currently enrolled as a Junior or higher pursuing a bachelor’s degree
• Strong oral and written communication skills for correspondence and report preparation
• Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality
• Excellent information assimilation and summarization capabilities
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw logical conclusions
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) with ability to create and format analytical spreadsheets
• Proficient internet research skills
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and make informed decisions
• Reliable attendance and ability to work 40 hours per week

• Knowledge and experience with data analytics tools, including SQL, ACL, or IDEA
