The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for clients, families, providers, and community partners at Next STEPS Worldwide. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming, organized, and professional front-office environment while ensuring efficient communication, scheduling coordination, and administrative support. The Receptionist plays a key role in supporting clinical operations and assists leadership with projects as needed.
- $15.00 per hour

- Greet and check in clients in a warm, professional manner.
- Answer and route incoming calls promptly and accurately.
- Respond to general inquiries via phone, email, and client portal.
- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Monitor lobby flow to ensure a safe and calm environment.
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments accurately in the EMR.
- Verify provider schedules daily for accuracy.
- Assist with reminder calls and follow-up communication.
- Maintain organized digital and physical records.
- Support completion of intake paperwork and client forms.
- Monitor shared inboxes and assist with administrative task completion.
- Maintain office supplies and coordinate ordering as needed.
- Support billing or care coordination teams with basic administrative requests.
- Ensure all front desk processes align with company SOPs.
- Assist clinic leadership with projects as needed.
- Support data collection, tracking, and reporting initiatives.
- Help prepare materials for meetings, trainings, and audits.
- Provide administrative support for operational improvements and special initiatives.
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 1–2 years of administrative or front desk experience (healthcare or behavioral health preferred).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. - Proficiency with EMR systems, Microsoft Office, and scheduling software.
- Professional demeanor and strong customer service orientation.
