The Human Resources Manager at The Frate Group is responsible for leading and managing all HR functions across the organization. This role oversees recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, compensation, benefits administration, and organizational development. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can align HR initiatives with business objectives while fostering a positive, high-performance culture.
Key Accountabilities & ResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract top talent
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process (posting, screening, interviewing, onboarding)
- Partner with leadership to forecast workforce needs
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees
- Address employee concerns, conflict resolution, and disciplinary matters
- Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture
- Develop employee engagement initiatives and retention strategies
Performance Management
- Oversee performance review processes
- Support leadership in goal-setting and employee development planning
- Implement training and professional development programs
Compliance & Policy Management
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Develop, update, and enforce company policies and procedures
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation
Compensation & Benefits
- Manage payroll coordination and benefits administration
- Evaluate compensation structures and recommend improvements
- Oversee benefits enrollment and vendor relationships
HR Strategy & Leadership
- Align HR strategies with company growth objectives
- Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to leadership
- Lead organizational development initiatives
- Manage and mentor HR staff
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field
- 3+ years of HR Manager experience required
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment law
- HRIS/payroll system experience (Paylocity is a plus)
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR certification preferred
- A high-trust, high-accountability style—strong communication, sound judgment, and follow-through
