First and foremost, you'll need to have a current license and/or certification as a Speech Therapist issued in Illinois. This ensures that you have the necessary knowledge and credentials to provide exceptional care to our patients. In addition, a minimum of 1 year of home health experience is required, as this will give you a solid foundation in understanding the unique challenges and dynamics of providing therapy in a home setting.

We also require candidates to have a valid CPR certification, ensuring that you can act swiftly and effectively in case of emergencies.

As a PRN Home Health Speech Therapist, you'll need a valid driver's license and auto insurance, as you'll be traveling to patients' homes to provide care. Familiarity with Home Care Home Base is preferred, as this software can streamline your documentation and help you stay organized in managing your caseload. This will ensure that you can efficiently track your visits, progress notes, and other important patient information.
