School Psychologist
Northern United Charter Schools is hiring for a School Psychologist to support the success of students academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally by collaborating with teachers, parents and other professionals to create safe, healthy and supportive learning environments that strengthen connections between home, school and the community for all students. #6137
QualificationsThe School Psychologist will identify and assess the learning development, and adjustment characteristics and needs of individuals and groups, as well as the environmental factors that affect learning and adjustment and provide interventions to students to support the teaching process and to maximize learning. The School Psychologist will assist in the planning, development and evaluation of programs to meet identified learning and adjustment needs to deliver a planned and coordinated program of psychological services.
Initial salary placement: $63,500-$71,500 depending on experience; with room for advancement to $75,500 over time. Additional $1,000/year for those with a Master's Degree.
Education and Experience- Pupil Personnel Services Credential
- Master’s degree preferred
- Prior experience in public schools
- Valid California Driver’s License
- Ability to understand procedures and functions in a school system with regard to special education and the overall education of the student.
- Ability to effectively communicate with parents, students, and staff verbally and in writing
