This role will be overseeing the Ferrero McDonough Repack operations, Monday
- Friday, 7am-4pm.

Packaging Operations Manager

The Packaging Operations Manager role has a national salary range of $85,000 - $100,000. For roles within California and Washington the range is $85,000 to $110,000.

• Support General Manager and engineering team with financial, project, and monthly reporting
• Manage the supervisors to drive efficiency through production and planning
• Communicate to team members production plan/status via start-up and pacing meetings
• Set up relevant training and development for direct reports i.e. Leadership Standard Work or Lean Manufacturing
• Manage production planning and ordering of supplies and equipment as needed
• Oversee efficiency tracking and labor planning
• Communicate any concerns or call-outs with customer, as necessary
• Assess project and resource needs
• Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
• Ensure health and safety regulations are met
• Identify, anticipate, and remove operational bottlenecks
• Drive continuous improvement via 5S and 8 waste elimination training
• Work with vendors and suppliers to maintain (WIP) work-in-process inventory
• Provide reporting on production, safety, quality, and any other reports as needed

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, preferred
• 3 years’ industry experience in Primary Packaging, Secondary Packaging, Custom Packaging, Manufacturing or related businesses and/or operations, required
• 2 – 4 years’ management experience in a supervisory / management role, required
