* Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

** The following job description is for a position of Maintenance with Purple and Include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.

Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.

Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.

Ability to operate forklifts.

Ability to operate pallet stretch-wrapping machine.

Ability to operate cardboard baling machine.
** Required Skills, Education,

Experience:

** Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in a maintenance capacity. Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense, understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions, to deal with problems from various situations. Mathematics Ability:
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers, multiply and divide 10’s and 100’s by 2, 3, 4 and 5, perform the four basic arithmetic operations with coins as part of a dollar, and perform operations with units such as inch, foot, yard, ounce, and pound.

Language Ability:
Ability to print (to inscribe by whatever means) simple sentences, series of numbers, names, and addresses. Also, includes the ability to communicate in simple sentences. Knowledge of the tools, equipment, materials, and application techniques common to warehousing. Knowledge and skill in hazardous materials handling, application, and disposal.
