DaVita has an open position for a Biomedical Services Specialist who keeps our life-giving dialysis treatments "up and running" every day in our clinics. This role will mainly cover the McDonough, GA area and includes on-call pay, mileage reimbursement, and additional travel pay if outside your designated area.
As a Biomedical Services Specialist, you'll be trained to repair and regularly service our dialysis machines. You will join a team that values work-life balance and where your personal and professional growth is a top priority.

Responsibilities- Repair and regularly service dialysis machines to keep treatments running in clinics.
- Be available for on-call rotations as needed to meet clinic needs, with the expectation to participate in on-call coverage periodically.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform diagnostics as part of daily responsibilities.
- Collaborate with DaVita teammates to ensure equipment reliability and timely maintenance.
- Mechanical abilities, repairs, and strong electronics knowledge and diagnostics are preferred; past experience in this type of work or demonstrated aptitude is acceptable. We will train and certify the right candidate.
- Great communication skills; ability to communicate openly and honestly with teammates.
- Tech savvy with the ability to troubleshoot and work with computer systems, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet usage; training will be provided on DaVita tools, but solid internet navigation and MS Office skills are required.
- On-call availability as needed to support clinic needs.
- High School Diploma (GED) or equivalent required at onboarding.
- A valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and an acceptable driving record; willingness to drive between clinics.
- Close proximity to clinics and hospitals in the area to provide adequate emergency response coverage.
