General Dentist – McDonough, GA. Dental Care at Lake Dow, a new office coming to McDonough, GA in October 2026, is looking for an Experienced General Dentist to join our team.

Dental Care at Lake Dow, like each Heartland Dental supported office, is unique to the community and the patients they serve. With support of a practice manager and a highly trained team on site, coupled with a vast network of experts across the nation, you’ll be connected to all the resources and support of Heartland Dental.

Provide comprehensive dentistry, including diagnosis and treatment of oral health issues, with clinical autonomy and collaboration within a supported practice environment.

• DDS/DMD degree, active and unrestricted license in state of Georgia
• Clinical knowledge to practice comprehensive dentistry, including diagnosis and treatment of oral health issues
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients
• Ability to become credentialed with dental insurance plans
• The position will have access to minimum PHI necessary for performing job-related functions; regular HIPAA training, aligning with the specific role and responsibilities, will be required; and the individual will need to protect PHI and maintain data safeguards.

• 2+ years of clinical experience
• Invisalign Certification
• Proficient with Endo

• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
• TB test is required for all new hires in dental office positions (not applicable in FL & TN); test will be arranged during pre-employment process with guidance provided
