Deputy Executive Director of Finance and Administration

The Mississippi Regional Housing Authority No. VII (MRHA 7 or Agency), an organization in the affordable housing industry, is seeking a results-driven individual to serve as Deputy Executive Director of Finance and Administration. The individual will direct all financial activities of the Agency, including internal/external financial reporting, fixed assets, inventory, budgeting, and forecasting. The incumbent will provide administrative leadership in finance, information technology, HCVP, and risk management for the Agency.

The Deputy Executive Director of Finance and Administration reports to the Executive Director and is based in McComb, Mississippi

Education/

Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, public administration, or related field and a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in governmental financial management, with a minimum of three (3) years in a managerial or director capacity. Knowledge of accounting and financial reporting for public housing and housing choice voucher programs required. Master’s degree preferred. CPA license preferred. Experience working with HUD preferred.

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
