RN Outpatient Clinic Float Pool

The RN Outpatient Clinic Float Pool 7/22/25 position is located at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center, McComb, MS
.

Under general supervision of the Clinic Administrator and Office Manager, the RN will use the nursing process to safely coordinate outpatient clinic patient care and education.

• Workload is determined by the clinic’s appointment schedule, staffing levels, and the clinic’s needs and priorities.
• Will be willing to be reassigned within the clinic or float to another clinic as needed.
• Typical schedule:
  
  up to 40 hours per week; some weekend work may be required.
• Must function within the scope of approved policies, procedures, and regulations for the clinic and organization.
• Assists with orientation and preceptorship of nursing, technical, and clerical personnel assigned to the clinic.
• Maintains professional, non‑defensive relationships with peers, physicians, administration, patients, and visitors.
• Documents total clinic patient care, reviews and maintains patient charts per clinic policy, and ensures accurate, timely entry of patient data, orders, and charges into the computer system.
• Attends yearly mandatory education requirements, arranging and completing sessions on their own.
