Job OverviewThe Respiratory Therapist provides therapeutic, diagnostic, prophylactic and palliative respiratory care to patients of all ages in all units or departments of the hospital. Respiratory Care is provided under the supervision of a physician Medical Director, Department Manager and Department Supervisor.
Responsibilities- Document all care provided in the medical record.
- Maintain Respiratory Care equipment and supplies.
- Assist in orientation of new employees.
- Follow all organizational, departmental, and regulatory policies, procedures and guidelines.
