Overview
Under immediate supervision of the Trades Helper Supervisor and general supervision of the Parks Maintenance Supervisor, the Trades Helper I performs manual labor involved with the development of a wide variety of projects to include, but not limited to, concrete work, minor electrical repairs, installation of playground equipment, benches, picnic tables, installation of signs and fencing, installation of drainage, completion of earthwork operations and welding.
Employee also assists with special events support tasks for all City sponsored or supported events, such as the Holiday Parade, Marathon, 4th of July, Palmfest and others.
