• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Register sales on the assigned cash register, providing customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, resolving customer issues and answering questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Share customer service best practices with all team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
• Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
• Recommend items for sale to customers and offer trade‑up or companion items.
• Register customer purchases on the assigned cash register, collect cash, distribute change, and process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
• Maintain clean, well‑merchandised counters and shelves, take inventory, and maintain records. Check in and price merchandise as required or directed by the store manager or shift leader.
• Implement company asset‑protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages, tobacco).
• Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, superstructures, and sale merchandise, and complete resets and revisions as directed.
• Assist with separation of food items and product placement as specified by policies and procedures, and perform stock rotation using the first‑in, first‑out method.
• Maintain working knowledge of store systems and store equipment.
• Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service and suggestive sale of promotional photo products.
• Assume web pick‑up responsibilities: monitor orders in Picture Care Plus, pick items, and deliver orders to customers upon arrival.
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance, ensuring a clean, neat, and orderly store condition and appearance.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
• Attend training and complete performance improvement plans (PPLs) requested by the manager or assigned by corporate.

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico)
• Requires willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.

• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico)
