Overview

Position Summary... What you ll do... Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans using the Open Door Policy and applying these in executing business processes and practices.

• Operate forklift following company standards and guidelines, safely picking up, moving, placing, and positioning merchandise pallets.
• Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicate progress and information; determine and address improvement opportunities; adapt to change, difficulties, and feedback.
• Receive stocks and organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers by managing inventory flow and following policies for equipment use, merchandising, inventory accuracy, exceptions, and required paperwork and logs.
• Provide member service by acknowledging the member, identifying needs, guiding and supporting members regarding self-service technology, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting products and services.
• Maintain safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, adhering to safety guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations to management.
• Maintain sales floor and merchandising presentation by zoning, stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out-of-date goods, setting up and organizing product displays, maintaining modular integrity, receiving, sorting, staging, and delivering merchandise, ensuring prominent displays of promotional and seasonal items, processing defective merchandise, and monitoring sanitation, food safety, shrink, and safety.
• Ensure club pickup orders are filled by assisting with picking and staging throughout the day and ensuring orders are completed within acceptable time frames; audit accuracy as needed.
• Inventory management: move and display goods safely, track in-stock levels, control shrinkage, report poor practices and low stock, and use inventory tools and equipment properly.
• Operate and maintain forklifts safely; report unsafe conditions or improper forklift function to management.
• Technology: identify customers needing help, assist with technology services, model and support others in technology services; identify shrink opportunities and take corrective action; maintain equipment and ensure proper stocking and organization.

Hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00. The actual rate will meet or exceed applicable minimum wage. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances, based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed.
