Customer Service Rep, Retail Associate/ Customer Service
Overview
The Associate is responsible for completing in-store food and non-food demonstrations. The role requires acquisition and maintenance of product knowledge, preparation, serving, and breakdown of product, equipment, and supplies. The Associate intercepts consumers and demonstrates products in a professional manner while maintaining an overall professional appearance consistent with the job requirements.
Base pay range$13.00/hr - $13.00/hr
Responsibilities- Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner.
- Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product.
- Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
- Properly set up and prepare the Event Table for execution.
- Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
- Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
- Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives.
- Complete expense reports as per Company Policy.
- Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the day of Event execution.
- Access the internet, navigate through company electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents, including Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF forms.
Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills: Proficient in using and navigating personal computer or mobile device with applications and internal systems.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local Food Handlers permit may be required.
Physical Demands: Stand and walk shift; use hands and fingers; reach overhead up to 65 inches; talk and hear; read instructions; stoop, kneel, squat, climb, balance; lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds); push and pull wheeled demonstration cart; prepare foods and beverages using required appliances; use cleaning supplies.
