Product Demonstrator Part Time – 4850
Product Connections is inviting applicants for this part‑time position.
OverviewThe Associate is responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations. The role requires acquiring and maintaining knowledge of the products represented, preparing, serving, and breaking down product, equipment, and supplies, intercepting consumers and demonstrating products in a professional manner, and maintaining a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
ResponsibilitiesPossesses the aptitude and ability to gain adequate knowledge of the products represented.
- Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner.
- Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product.
- Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe work station using cleaning chemicals.
- Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the requirements of the job.
- Properly set up and prepare event table for execution.
- Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
- Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
- Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives.
- Complete expense reports as per company policy.
- Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
- Access the internet, navigate the company’s electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents, including Microsoft Word & Adobe PDF forms.
This role is not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week, although the company reserves the discretion to change the role based on business or client needs.

QualificationsEducation/
Experience:
High school diploma or GED; or one to three months’ related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer
Skills:
Proficient ability to use and navigate a personal computer or mobile device using applications and internal systems.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Local food handler permit may be required.
Physical Demands:
Regularly required to stand and walk during shifts; use hands and fingers; reach with hands and arms up to 65 inches; talk and hear; read instructions; stoop, kneel, squat; climb or step on ladder; balance; lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds); push/pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully laden with appliances, supplies, and product; prepare foods and beverages using required appliances such as cooking utensils, knives, convection oven, coffee maker, electric fryer, microwaves;
contact cleaning supplies.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.
Work Environment:
Retail store environment with limited travel.
Physical Appearance:
Must ensure a professional appearance and proper grooming. The associate must present a neat, clean, and appropriately groomed appearance. Specific retailer dress code requirements are included in training documents.
Language
Skills:
English is the primary language skill; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
