General Information Tell us about the unit(s):

• Number of Beds
-19

• Number of Staff – 36

• Type of staff: RNs and one Unit secretary

• Day Shift – (example 1 charge, 3 RN, 2 CNA, and 1-3 sitters) One charge, 6 RNs, and unit secretary Monday to Friday

• Night Shift – 1 charge and 6 RNs

• Patient Ratios – Level III 1:2, and level II 1:3

• Type of equipment – giraffes, panda warmers, Dash 3000 monitors, glucometer, jet ventilators, conventional ventilators, Nasal CPAP, High flow nasal cannula, etc.

• EMR
-CPN and Meditech

Skill Set

Most recruited for:
Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• Minimum 1-2 years Level III experience

• Ventilator experience

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

• Level II and III NICU care

• Medication administration: TPN, SMOF, Lipids, Dopamine, Dobutamine, etc

Best personality Fit:
• Team player

REQUIRED

CERTIFICATIONS:

• NRP, BLS

Floating Area(s):
• Nursery

Dress Code :
• Scrub Color/Attire - Royal blue

Unit Guidelines/Policies :
Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.

• Weekends and On call (if any)

• 12 hours shifts, every other weekend, no call.
