Associate Attorney

We are looking for a self motivated Associate Attorney to work in a growing law firm. The Attorney will work on general litigation files (areas of personal injury, commercial litigation, probate and family law). You will provide legal services under the supervision of a Partner Attorney.

* * Provide support to Partner Attorney and take on your own litigation files

* Handle communication with clients, witnesses etc.

* Support and attend hearings and trials

* Handle some transactional items

* Prepare discovery and case briefs

* Skills
* * Licensed Attorney in Texas

* Familiarity with law, legal procedures and protocols, and court system

* Satisfactory knowledge of day-to-day operations of a legal office

* Computer literacy

* Proficiency in English, and preferably Spanish

* Working knowledge of case management software

* Ability to juggle multiple activities and work under pressure

Job Type: Full-time

Pay:
From $90,000.00 per xrlwcon year
