Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in the Greater McAllen Area for a Human Resources Director. The HR Director will oversee and implement HR strategies, develop and enforce HR policies, and manage employee relations. Key responsibilities include leading performance management programs, ensuring compliance with labor and employment laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture that aligns with the company’s values.

The role requires collaboration with leadership to support organizational goals and ensure a productive and engaged workforce.

Qualifications
  • Strong expertise in Human Resources (HR) practices, including staffing, training, and onboarding processes
  • Proficiency in developing, implementing, and enforcing HR Policies
  • Experience in managing Employee Relations to foster a positive and productive workplace environment
  • Knowledge of Performance Management strategies to analyze, assess, and improve employee contributions
  • Comprehensive understanding of Labor and Employment Law to ensure compliance and mitigate risk
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or SHRM certification is preferred
  • Experience in the transportation or logistics industry is a plus
