Hotel General Manager

Ocean Gate Hospitality is seeking an experienced and proactive Hotel General Manager to lead the daily operations of one of our hotel properties. This role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, delivering outstanding guest experiences, and driving strong financial performance.

The General Manager will lead hotel teams, maintain brand standards, and work closely with company leadership to ensure the property consistently meets performance goals and guest satisfaction expectations. Success in this role means building a high-performing team, maintaining excellent guest satisfaction scores, and ensuring the hotel operates efficiently and profitably.

• Oversee daily hotel operations including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services
• Ensure compliance with brand standards for hotels affiliated with Hilton, Marriott, IHG, Wyndham, or Choice
• Walk the property regularly to ensure cleanliness, safety, and operational excellence
• Monitor guest satisfaction scores, online reviews, and service quality
• Recruit, train, and mentor hotel staff while fostering a positive team culture
• Manage budgets, operating costs, and hotel performance metrics such as RevPAR, ADR, and occupancy
• Support local sales efforts, group bookings, and community partnerships
• Ensure the hotel is prepared for brand inspections and maintains company standards

• Previous experience as a Hotel General Manager, Assistant General Manager, or Operations Manager
• Experience working with major hotel brands (Hilton, Marriott, IHG, Wyndham, or Choice preferred)
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Experience managing hotel operations, financial performance, and guest satisfaction
  
  Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Hospitality or business degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
