Our Client, a Automotive Components company, is looking for a Customer Service Representative for their McAllen, TX location.
Responsibilities- Talks with customers by phone, in person or e-mail and receive orders for shipments. Clarifies and confirms all changes in volumes or delivery.
- Forecasts customer requirements to provide daily needs by product to the production planning department.
- Analyze difference between budget and last forecast and determines the reason for the variation and report to Account Manager & Sales Director.
- Negotiate with customers for quantity, due date and other non-price related issues.
- Manage all the DSP (Direct Source Parts) transactions and maintain order status and shipping status daily basis.
- Maintain tooling asset and prepare necessary documentation for invoicing.
- Maintain good relationship with customers and gather intelligence, and information related to client products and services.
- Resolve customer issues to the mutual benefit of the customer and TNAM.
- Serves as liaison between the customer and the Manufacturing Plant to resolve order and delivery problems.
- Communicate sales forecasts to appropriate manufacturing functions to ensure on time delivery, efficiency, and quality. (Some internal negotiation will be required as well.)
- Other duties as assigned.
- PC literacy with word processing and spreadsheet software, especially:
- Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Power point etc.
- Flexible and easy to work with in a team oriented environment
- Excellent communication skills.
- Enthusiastic and willing to take challenges.
- Automotive product experience background is preferable
