for Full‑Time Night Openings
  • 10:30 pm – 7:00 am

Essential Functions of Certified Medication Aide (CMA)
  • Perform resident care responsibilities in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort, consistent with company clinical policies, procedures, and state/federal regulations.
  • Administer medications as ordered by a physician under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the “five rights” of medication administration.
  • Administer and record all medication given to residents based upon their specific chart.
  • Notify appropriate licensed staff when a resident complains of pain.
  • Take and record vital signs of residents as assigned or as may be required by certain medications.
  • Record the administration of medications and/or treatments appropriately, utilizing the computer system.
  • Answer resident call lights, anticipate residents’ needs, and make rounds to assigned residents under the supervision of a licensed or charge nurse.
  • Observe for and report any reactions and/or side effects of medications to a licensed nurse on the appropriate shift.
  • Perform all aspects of resident care in an environment that optimizes safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/healthcare errors.
  • Support and maintain a culture of safety and quality.
  • Administer PRN medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Report and, when appropriate, record any changes observed in condition or behavior of residents and unusual incidents.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications of Certified Medication Aide (CMA)
  • High school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Valid certification as a CNA & CMA in the state of Oklahoma.
  • Six months of experience in a long‑term care environment is preferred.
  • Maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
  • Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations.
  • Effective communication skills with residents, family members, and facility staff.
  • Proficiency in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Additional languages preferred.
