Vice President​/C&I Lender

SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial C&I Lender, with a proven track record, to join our team and spearhead the bank’s new commercial lending initiative. This role offers a unique opportunity to build and grow a C&I Lending program from the ground up, making a significant impact on the bank’s expansion of this business line.

• Pipeline Development: Create and cultivate your own pipeline of C&I loan referrals and business opportunities.
• Underwriting Expertise: Structure and underwrite loans while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Portfolio Management: Independently manage a portfolio of C&I loans, focusing on small to mid-size companies.
• Market Strategy: Ensure alignment with market demands and the bank’s risk appetite for C&I loans.
• Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with clients and address their lending and deposit needs.

• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in commercial lending, with a focus on C&I deals.
• Strong understanding of underwriting, loan structuring, and credit analysis.
• Proven ability to build a lending program and manage a portfolio independently.
• Experience working in larger banks with the desire to take on a more personalized, hands‑on role managing smaller deals.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements.
