Loyola Medicine, a member of Trinity Health, is a nationally ranked academic, qua ternary care system based in Chicago's western suburbs. With its main campus at Loyola University Medical Center, Loyola Medicine is part of a comprehensive three-hospital system including Loyola University Medical Center, Gottlieb Memorial Hospital, and Mac Neal Hospital.
Work: 9:45 am – 6:15 pm, Monday – Friday.
Position SummaryProvide bus transportation to colleagues, non-colleagues, faculty, students, patients and visitors on and off campus. Maintain a safe culture on the bus and obey all traffic rules.
Responsibilities- Perform vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness of bus interiors, fuel buses, log passenger counts, and assist disabled passengers.
- Ensure timeliness of routes and adapt the shuttle schedule as needed.
- Maintain an acceptable DMV record.
- Courteously assist colleagues, visitors, patients, students and faculty by answering questions and providing campus directions; direct inquiries to Parking Leadership when necessary.
- Communicate campus issues such as suspicious persons, parking machine problems or regulatory needs.
- Assist handicapped individuals using the lift or assistance into the vehicle.
- Serve all regional campuses (LUMC, Mac Neal, Gottlieb).
- Assist with parking needs.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Regional Manager of Parking Services.
Education: Minimum High School Diploma.
Credentials/Licensure: Minimum Driver’s License;
Preferred CDL Class C with Passenger Endorsement.
Related
Experience:
Minimum 1‑2 years;
Preferred 3‑5 years of related experience.
Pay Range: $15.40 – $19.28 per hour.
Actual compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
