What You Will Do- Perform advanced non-invasive echo cardiographic imaging for adults, pediatrics, and neonates, including transthoracic, stress, and specialized studies.
- Administer contrast agents (Definity/Optison) per protocol.
- Obtain patient history, verify procedure appropriateness, and communicate critical findings to physicians.
- Complete accurate documentation and measurements for cardiologist interpretation.
- Participate in quality improvement, peer review, and maintain lab accreditation standards.
- Ensure efficient workflow, equipment maintenance, and compliance with safety/infection control.
- Deliver excellent patient care and customer service aligned with core values.
- Education:
Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred); graduate of an accredited ultrasound program with echocardiography focus. - Experience:
3–5 years in cardiac ultrasound. - Certifications:
CPR and RDCS required. - Skills:
Proficiency in adult, pediatric, and neonatal echocardiography; ability to identify normal vs. pathological findings; strong communication and judgment.
Salary Range: $31.62 - $50.79
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
