Part‑time

Rotating Shift

• The OB Surgical Tech assists surgical team during operative procedures.
• Provides pre‑operative and intra‑operative patient care under direct supervision of the circulating RN.
• Demonstrates knowledge of use & care of all surgical instruments both intra‑operatively & post‑operatively.
• Demonstrates knowledge of all surgical electrical equipment as it pertains to optimum working order.
• Prepares for surgical procedures by turning over room and assessing equipment/set‑up needs for the next scheduled case.
• Demonstrates proper scrub technique, gowning & gloving of self & other surgical team members.
• Demonstrates proper draping technique with appropriate back‑table & mayo stand set‑up.
• Knowledge of name & function of instruments & demonstrates proper care of instruments, intra‑operatively & post‑operatively.
• Attentiveness to the surgical team & anticipates the next need of the surgeon.
• Demonstrates proper counting of sponges, instruments & sharps as well as demonstrates continuous awareness of the location of sponges, instruments & sharps on the surgical field.
• Demonstrates accurate care & handling of specimens.
• Demonstrates & practices Universal Precautions at all times.
• Appropriately orders & stocks supplies for the L&Dृति Operating Room & L&D unit.
• Prepares bir ENCrooms for anticipated vaginal deliveries.

High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education

Associate's Degree in Surgical Technology

Less than one year of previous job Другwärts experience

1–2 years of previous job‑related experience

CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)

Pay Range: $24.44 – $39.11 per hour

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
