In this role, the Radiation Therapy Tech is responsible for simulation, treatment planning, and administration of a prescribed course of radiation therapy to deliver quality care. Therapists also perform quality checks on equipment, participate in quality improvement initiatives, maintain accurate records, and manage daily billing and related documentation.
What You’ll Do- Start and maintain a course of radiation therapy with minimal risk and complications.
- Administer daily treatments, check prescriptions and patient information in Aria and other systems, identify patients correctly, explain procedures, prepare rooms and patients, and maintain patient markings.
- Associate degree
- Less than one year of previous job‑related experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1–2 years of previous job‑related experience
- CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) by the American Heart Association
- Approved Radiation Oncology Therapy License
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
- Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA)

Pay Range: $40.00 – $59.92 per hour
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
