Description:

Loyola Medicine is seeking a CT Technologist, Nights to perform computerized tomography procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.

Responsibilities:

• Participates in advance research projects and assists in the development of new procedure protocols.
• Acts as the CT technical expert for the department and troubleshoots equipment.
• Explains procedures to patients and answers any questions prior to the performance of the exam.
• Obtains patient history pertinent to the exam.
• Produces high-quality CT images and generates 3-D images within proper time parameters.
• Adheres to procedure protocols at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Minimum

Required:

• Associate degree or equivalent training acquired via work experience or education in Radiologic Technology.
• New Graduate or 1-2 years of previous job-related experience.

Licensure/

Certifications:

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
• Illinois Emergency Management Agency Certification (IEMA).
• Computer Assisted Tomography (CT Technologist).
• CPR from the American Heart Association.
