About The Job In this role, the Radiographer I will perform diagnostic imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring supervision of technical detail. Performs technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and innovation to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis.

Location and Hours
  • Location:

    Maywood, IL
  • Area: X-Ray
  • Hours:

    Evenings; 2:30 PM–11:00 PM;
    Mon–Fri with alternating weekends
Responsibilities
  • Performs radiographic procedures in accordance with departmental guidelines to provide physicians with the highest quality diagnostic images.
  • Provides assistance to the Radiologist during radiographic procedures to expedite patient care and quality of life.
  • Assesses plans, provides intervention, and evaluates care for each patient based on their ages to avoid unnecessary radiation exposure.
  • Prepares equipment and supplies necessary for radiographic procedures and performs daily tasks to ensure patient safety.
Minimum Required

Education and Experience
  • Associates Degree
  • AAS in Radiologic Technology
  • Less than one year of previous job-related experience
Licensure/Certification s
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
  • Illinois Emergency Management Agency Certification (IEMA)
  • CPR (American Heart Association)
  • Registered Radiographic Technologist
  • Note:

    For ARRT-certified applicants prior to 2015, an associate degree is not required. For those certified after or not certified, an associate degree is required due to ARRT changes.
  • New Graduates must obtain ARRT within 3 months of hire.

Pay Range: $30.00 - $46.00 per hour

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
