An experienced Registered Nurse looking for premium compensation and maximum flexibility can apply to First Choice – Trinity Health's mobile staffing solution. First Choice RNs are utilized to fill short- and long-term assignments throughout the health system, and we need you to be part of this innovative program. What you will do- Float throughout the hospital and/or across multiple hospital locations/regions.
- Apply the standard elements of professional practice: assessment, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Act independently and appropriately within the scope of licensure, knowledge, and experience in the assigned practice area.
- Retain accountability for delegation, decision making, and outcomes.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and contribute to quality and improvement initiatives.
- Display agility and willingness to take on new and additional responsibilities.
- Embrace new ideas, cultural differences, and manage competing priorities.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school.
- Valid RN licensure in the state(s) of employment.
- Minimum 18 months of recent clinical experience in Med Surg, Telemetry, or PCU.
- Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in other specialties including Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department, and Behavioral Health.
- Required certifications (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC) per specialty area.
