In this role, the Cardiac Cath Tech RT III performs a wide variety of specialized technical work in all aspects of the OR's hybrid laboratory. Cardiac Cath Tech work involves operating a complex range of physiological hemodynamic monitoring and recording equipment. The tech will also operate radiographic equipment including PACS. The tech will be involved with diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular disease.

• Associate Degree OR equivalent training acquired via work experience or education
• 1-2 years of previous job-related experience or new RT graduate

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
• CPR from American Heart Association only
• Illinois Emergency Management Agency Certification (IEMA)
