Meadowview Regional Medical Center is a 100‑bed, acute care Joint Commission accredited facility located on the south banks of the Ohio River in northeastern Kentucky. The emergency department is a 12‑bed unit that provides direct patient care to critically ill adult patients. Registered nurses employ the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice, and uphold the values and mission of the organization.

• Use critical thinking skills and decisive judgment to provide safe, high‑quality care with minimal supervision.
• Work effectively in a stressful environment and take appropriate action when needed.
• Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care.
• Document patient care accurately and communicate patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and spiritual/psychosocial support.
• Evaluate learning needs of patients and families and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstance.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients.

• Associate's degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred).

• ACLS, BCLS, PALS; possession of NIHSS within 90 days of hire.

• Registered Nurse licensed to practice in the state of Kentucky.
