The Supportive Care Nurse provides one-to-one bedside care for terminally ill patients, based on ongoing nursing assessments and in accordance with the established care plan. This full-time role involves three 12-hour shifts per week, including weekends, and is eligible for a $5,000 bonus. Part-time and PRN options are also available.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing compassionate end-of-life care aligned with each patient's care plan, assessing and responding to patient and family needs promptly.
• Educating patients and caregivers about end-of-life issues, available services, and resources.
• Documenting complex medical information using clinical tools and data to assess patient needs.
• Building professional relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers through strong communication skills.
• Utilizing basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Working night shifts from 8:00 pm to 8:00 am, three shifts per week, including every other weekend.
• Providing care in private residences, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities across Kentucky and Ohio.

SIGN ON BONUS! $2,500 after six months and another $2,500 after one year of full-time employment.

Professional: Graduate of an accredited Nursing School with current licensure or eligibility in Kentucky and Ohio. At least one year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Personal: Empathy, responsibility, dependability, effective communication, ability to work independently, leadership, and teaching skills.

Physical: Ability to access various care sites independently, lift at least 50 pounds, and use personal protective equipment properly. Must have a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
