Responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care, utilizing the nursing process, and adhering to professional standards within the designated scope of practice.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (must be obtained within 40 days of employment).

• Must possess an active RN license for the state of Kentucky or be eligible to work under a compact state license.
• Recent New Graduates: Candidates with a provisional KY RN license are acceptable

• Implement and execute patient care plans, including medication administration, specimen collection, and necessary clinical interventions.
• Accurately document and communicate the care provided and update relevant stakeholders on patient progress and status.
• Assist patients with daily living activities, such as hygiene, mobility, nutrition, and elimination.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless coordination of patient care, including discharge, transfers, and referrals, while addressing the emotional, spiritual, and psychosocial needs of patients.
• Assess and address the educational needs of patients and their families, delivering relevant guidance tailored to their specific conditions, cultural background, and circumstances.
• Act as a patient advocate, supporting their physical and emotional well‑being throughout the care process.
