Are you passionate about early childhood education and helping young children learn, grow, and thrive? Mother Goose Academy is currently seeking nurturing, dependable Childcare Teachers to join our growing team. We are hiring for infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms and welcome both experienced educators and those new to early childhood education (ECE).

This role may be filled as a Lead Teacher, Co-Teacher, or Assistant Teacher, depending on experience and classroom needs.

All new hires begin as Float Teachers (Substitute/Assistant Teachers) to learn classroom routines, center expectations, and our teaching approach. This onboarding model ensures a smooth transition and helps you feel confident and supported before being placed in a permanent classroom.

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED required
• Genuine love for children and interest in early childhood development
• Previous childcare or daycare experience preferred, but not required

• Ability to lift, carry, and hold children weighing 40–50 pounds
• Ability to bend, kneel, squat, sit on the floor, and stand for extended periods
• Ability to move quickly to ensure child safety indoors and outdoors
• Ability to see, hear, and respond to children, alarms, and emergencies
• Ability to push, pull, and maneuver strollers, cribs, furniture, and playground equipment
• Ability to participate in indoor and outdoor activities in varying weather
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as diapering, cleaning, and sanitizing
• Ability to actively supervise multiple children at all times
• Ability to communicate clearly with children, families, and coworkers

• Ability to remain calm and patient in a fast‑paced childcare environment
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and shift priorities
• Ability to respond appropriately to challenging behaviors
• Ability to maintain focus and active supervision
• Ability to accept feedback and follow center policies and procedures
• Ability to communicate professionally with families and team members

• Full‑time positions available
• Monday–Friday
• Consistent daytime hours
