The Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial is $16.00 USD per hour. The Pay Range / Rango salarial is $16.00 USD - $24.00 USD per hour.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks
• When guests need assistance, engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs
• Make the guest aware of current promos, store activities and events
• Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area, to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience
• Thank guests and let them know we’re happy they chose to shop at Target
• Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs with every guest and assist with application or sign-up as needed
• Scan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining guest service and accuracy
• Understand and show guests how to use the features and offerings within the Target App including Wallet
• Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering, and know how to direct the guest to enroll, activate and use these features
• Assist with returns following register prompts; collaborate with leaders as needed while adhering to Target policies
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area by gathering unpurchased items, baskets, and hangers for removal
• Stock supplies during store hours while being available for the guest
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance
• Work in a safe manner at all times; comply with safety policies, report hazards and correct where possible
• Support guest services such as order pickup, Drive-Up orders, DU Returns and maintain compliance with relevant laws

• Communicating effectively with guests using positive language and attentiveness to guest needs
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
• Attention to detail while prioritizing tasks
• Willing to educate guests and engage around products and services
• Ability to communicate on multiple devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established time frames
• Accurately handle checkout operations and transactions; support cash office operations as needed
• Lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds with or without assistance (frequently up to 10 pounds)
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable and prompt attendance
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a shift
• Capable of working in varying temperatures and conditions while performing duties including Drive-Up and carryout
