This role focuses on guest experience, service delivery, and leading a team of Guest Advocates, Service Advocates, and Front of Store Attendants to meet store goals and guest expectations.
Responsibilities- Lead a team of hourly team members; including interviewing, developing, coaching, evaluating and retaining talent.
- Demonstrate inclusivity and value diverse voices; create equitable experiences for guests and team members.
- Plan daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver service and sales goals.
- Guide team to deliver guest service across checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while maintaining quality and reducing wait times.
- Support Target Loyalty Programs by educating and promoting benefits and offerings.
- Ensure onboarding and ongoing learning; coach and develop skill sets to improve front-of-store experiences.
- Communicate sales goals, guest insights, and operational priorities to execute daily/weekly plans and address opportunities.
- Uphold ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; model safe behaviors and address hazards promptly.
- Respond to guest concerns, de-escalate issues, and ensure team support to resolve problems.
- Stay up-to-date on major promotions, brand launches, and events.
- Evaluate candidates for open positions to build a guest-centric team.
- Manage a schedule that aligns with guest and business needs, including early morning, evening, closing, overnight shifts, holidays and weekends.
- Support and enable pickup and drive-up orders, including drive-up returns and, where applicable, Starbucks, following all laws and policies.
- Lead through accountability with clear expectations and performance management.
- Maintain guest-centric service while driving loyalty and satisfaction across interactions.
- High school diploma or equivalent; must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication skills; ability to operate handheld scanners and related technology; work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to manage workload, prioritize tasks, and stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
- Welcoming and helpful attitude with a commitment to guest service.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times.
