Travel Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) – Nights | Mayfield Heights, OH (Cleveland Area)

Travel Med/Surg Telemetry RN opportunity — 13-week travel nursing assignment in Mayfield Heights, OH (near Cleveland). Seeking experienced telemetry nurses with strong cardiac monitoring skills, ACLS/BLS certification, and clinical Med/Surg telemetry experience to join a supportive hospital team on nights.

• Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Telemetry
• Unit: Med/Surg Telemetry (3 Seidman)
• Assignment Type: Travel / Contract
• Start Date: March 30, 2026
• End Date: June 29, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19:00 - 07:00)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2020-$2130

• Minimum 18 months recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required (telemetry nursing)
• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State license in hand at time of submission (Ohio nursing jobs, travel RN)
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications (must be active, not pending)
• One supervisory reference required (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) from Med/Surg Telemetry
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safe Medicate assessment during orientation (2 attempts maximum)
• COVID-19 and seasonal Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Background check and fingerprinting required prior to start
• Must be able to work at least every other holiday during the assignment

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients on a busy Med/Surg Telemetry unit (telemetry nurse responsibilities)
• Continuously monitor and accurately interpret cardiac rhythms; respond to changes in patient condition and escalate appropriately
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments safely and in accordance with orders (safe medication administration)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams—physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers, and other clinical staff—to optimize patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR documentation)
• Participate in orientation, competency assessments, and ongoing training during the assignment
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, clinical protocols, and safety standards
