Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU travel assignment in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 18 months of permanent ICU experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

• 13-week travel assignment in an ICU at an acute care hospital in the Cleveland, OH area
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Local candidates are accepted for this position
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals within 1 year of their previous end date
• Travelers may only be submitted for one position at a time within the Cleveland Clinic Health System
• ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments are completed during orientation; a passing score is required with a maximum of 2 attempts
• PBDS Assessment is waived for this position
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement (exemption is temporary and honored until further notice)
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signing the contract; badge pickup and onsite fingerprinting must be completed at the facility prior to the start date
• Candidates with facial hair must have an approved medical or religious exemption to use a PAPR alternative
• Pre-start modules average 6–15 hours and must be completed prior to the start date
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at time of interview
• Travelers may extend up to 18 consecutive months, after which a 6-month break from all Cleveland Clinic locations is required

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license required (compact licenses accepted for starts 1/1/23 and forward)
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent (non-travel) ICU experience required
• All required certifications must be active with nothing pending
• One supervisory reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) in the ICU specialty required for consideration — non-supervisory references will not be accepted
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required
• Must have no open background case; any background hits are reviewed by the facility and license hits are not accepted
