Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring an active OH or compact RN license and recent Med/Surg Tele experience.
Responsibilities- Hospital-based Med/Surg Telemetry unit
- Night shifts, working three 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
- Patient population includes medical and surgical telemetry cases
- Travelers must work at least every other holiday
- Initial orientation includes ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments
- Modules for onboarding and annual compliance are required and completed pre-start
- Candidates must complete onsite fingerprinting and badge pickup before start date
- Locals are accepted at the same bill rate
- A break of six months is required after working 18 consecutive months at any Cleveland Clinic facility before starting a new assignment
- Permanent and per diem former employees must wait one year before returning
- Nurses are temporarily exempt from nicotine-free requirements
- Adherence to dress code and assignment-specific competency modules required
- Active permanent OH or compact RN license required prior to consideration
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum of 18 months of recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
- Must successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate testing during orientation with two attempts
- No open background cases and no license hits accepted
